Stickers
There could hardly be a more glaring example of the presence of printing products in everyday life. Just look around and there is at least one sticker in sight. Their functions range from purely decorative to informative or warning.
Modern sticker printing does not only offer the possibility of a precise choice of material. The choice of adhesive also matters, in order to adapt the sticker to the conditions in which we will use it. In one area, you need a durable sticker we can peel off without any difficulty. In another, a super-durable, very difficult to remove adhesive will count.
Specialised productions – sticker and label printing
In the case of stickers, the environment in which they will be placed is very important and sometimes determines which production materials must be used.
It is worth informing the printer how do you want to use the stickers. For example, for an environment where grease and oils are used, you will need a film that is resistant to them. The same goes for heat – standard stickers will quickly become damaged when in contact with hot elements. There are, however, special films adapted for the production of stickers applied to objects where the temperature can reach several hundred degrees.
The ready-made sticker market
There is quite a large market for ready-made stickers. This applies in particular to all kinds of signs, information and warning labels. While the production of a single sticker is usually not cost-effective and it will be cheaper to buy a ready-made one, the case changes slightly with just a dozen or so.
When planning to purchase a series of stickers, it is worth contacting the printer and asking for a quote. It may turn out that not only will you be able to select stickers precisely to your needs (exact size), but also the price will be lower than buying a ready-made product in a shop.
